Creative Producer - Would you Adam and Eve it?
Alex Anslow
Alex has a vast amount of experience in the arts industry as a producer, programmer and cultural events manager. Now the Festival Connect & Create Senior Producer for the Norfolk & Norwich Festival, we met as she was in her tenure as Creative Producer at Dance City, Newcastle. Her wealth of knowledge and connections within the dance network gave us essential support throughout this project.

Karl Fagerland-Brekke
Professional dancer Karl has worked with Lela McMillan Dance, Leah Tirabasso, Arthur Pita, Lucy McCormick, Protein, Simon McBurney, Russell Maliphant, Lewis Major Dance, Julie Schmidt Andreasen, Alexander Baczynski-Jenkins, Junk Ensemble and Sweetshop Revolution.

Faith Prendergast
Faith grew up in Colorado, USA, when she began dancing at a young age at a local dance school. She went on to train at the San Francisco Conservatory of Dance (2009-2010) and then acquired a BA(Hons) at Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance (2010-2013). For the past 10 years, Faith has freelanced in the UK and Europe working with companies and choreographers including Ballo Arthur Pita, Léa Tirabasso, Fritz Company (Damiano Bigi), Protein Dance, Simon McBurney, Leah Hausman, Stacked Wonky, Annabel Arden, Russell Maliphant, Sweetshop Revolution, Joel O'donoghue, Leila McMillan, Jodie Cole and Viv Wood.

Choreographic Mentor
Christine Devaney
Born in Glasgow, Christine trained at London Contemporary Dance School and has been performing, choreographing and teaching throughout her extensive career, which started with Dundee Rep Dance Company (Scottish Dance Theatre). She performed and was Associate Director with V-tol Dance Company for 9 years. Her work spans across dance and theatre. Companies she has worked with include Plan B, Quarantine, Frantic Assembly, Yolande Snaith Theatre Dance, TAG, The Unicorn, Catherine Wheels Theatre Company, and Lung Ha Theatre Company. Her work for The National Theatre of Scotland includes movement direction on their production of Macbeth (2012, Broadway run 2013), The Wheel (2011), and co-directing the award-winning Venus as a Boy (2007). Christine was an associate artist with Imaginate 2011-2013 and in 2014 was the recipient of a Creative Scotland Artists' Bursary. Christine is committed to contributing to the development of the dance community across Scotland.

Composer - Would you Adam and Eve it?
Luke Sutherland
Luke Sutherland has played, collaborated and toured with many groups and people over the years including Mogwai, Long Fin Killie and Rev Magnetic. His composition credits include scores for the National Theatre of Scotland’s Venus as a Boy, Curious Seed’s And The Birds Did Sing and Whiteout by Barrowland Ballet, and the feature films, Second Coming, and ear for eye by writer/director debbie tucker green.

Community Partner - Would you Adam and Eve it?
The Bostey
‘The Bostey’ is a neighbourhood youth project based in Walker that has worked with local families, children, and young people in the East of Newcastle since 1940. They are a member of the Walker Workers group They work together with other partners in the East End of the City to provide whole family and one to one support to local families, children, and young people.

Videographer - Would you Adam and Eve it?
Matt Jamie
Matt Jamie is a theatre professional based in the North of England. He trained as an actor at Drama Studio London and since then has worked as an actor, director, film maker (drama, music videos, theatre visuals, theatre promos, dance films), photographer (actors portraits, production photos, dance imagery), and in audio production - as an audiobook narrator, producing a radio drama podcasts and creating sound design for theatre and audio productions. ​ Matt was also Artistic Director of award-winning new writing company Coracle, who were an associate company of Alphabetti Theatre in Newcastle from 2016 to 2024.

Photographer - Would you Adam and Eve it?
Luke Waddington
Luke is a photographer and film maker based in the North East of England. His work spans many genres, from documentary story telling to the abstract and obscure, with a passion for people and their devotions. Working with a variety of clients and artists his aim is to convey emotion and feeling with a timeless aesthetic. His work responds to humanity in its current social form using image making to help us understand one another and the world we live in.

Digital Design/Photographer - Would you Adam and Eve it?
Matt Bartram
Matt is a visual artist and designer working under the name, Cave & Sky. Matt works across the UK performing arts and dance world, supporting artists in amplifying the visibility of their work and creative practices. Outside of this work, he spends time designing and creating his own work, and also co-runs a nature-led arts company called imprint with dance artist Anne Colvin.

Set & Costume Designer - Would you Adam and Eve it?
Natalie Johnson
Natalie is a set and Costume Designer based in Liverpool/Glasgow/Newcastle upon Tyne. She was the 2017 recipient of the Everyman and Playhouse Prize for Stage Design, and is a recent graduate from the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts with 1st Class Honours.

Lighting Designer - Would you Adam and Eve it?
Mark Parry
Mark works with light, film and digital imagery in a wide range of contexts - public artworks, installations, cross-art collaborations, as well as in film-making, light and projection design - to create light, video, interactive and digital artworks for site-specific or public spaces. He was resident at Kaleider Studio for 3 years. Currently, he is working on immersive light and projection environments, sculptural light and sound pieces and new interactive projection works.

Technical Manager - Would you Adam and Eve it?
Rebecca Glendenning-Laycock
Rebecca Glendenning-Laycock is an actor, writer and theatre maker and founding member of queer theatre company Bonnie and The Bonnettes. She has performed in theatres across the North East and her Live Theatre credits include Drag Me To Love and Bonnie and Fanny’s Christmas Spectacular.
